One Step on the Way to the Super Bowl

November 22, 1998 - While marching their way to a 14-2-0 regular season record and their second Super Bowl victory, the Broncos slapped down the Oakland Raiders 40-14. This win marked Denver's sixteenth win in a row, going back to the last game of the 1997 season and their first Super Bowl-winning run. Terrell Davis had 162 rushing yards and one touchdown while John Elway had 197 passing yards and three touchdowns. Rod Smith even completed a pass for 14 yards.
