Open Thread: Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs

The Denver Broncos face the Kansas City Chiefs in Arrowhead Stadium. To keep pace with the Ravens, Texans and Patriots, the Broncos need to string some more wins together for playoff seeding.

DENVER BRONCOS at KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

November 25th, 2012Sports Authority Field at Arrowhead Stadium

The Denver Broncos are a week removed from beating the San Diego Chargers. We have all but ended the Chargers season and the Kansas City Chiefs were eliminated from playoff contention a while ago.

Today's game is far from meaningless, though. This is a rivalry game. The Broncos are looking to smack the Chiefs in the mouth and further embarrass them. They've already had their quarterback issues with Matt Cassell and Brady Quinn, so much so that the Chiefs fans have left games early and worn black to show their displeasure with management.

In Arrowhead today, it should be no different. Peyton Manning should have a field day against the Chiefs while Von Miller, Elvis Dumervil and company try to slow down the Chiefs offensive attack. Jamaal Charles and former Denver Bronco, Peyton Hillis, will carry much of the load for the Chiefs and the Broncos must slow them down if they wish to beat the Chiefs today. The Chiefs have struggled to hold onto the ball, turning the ball over 31 times... last in the NFL.

The Broncos should be able to come away with a few turnovers today.
