Broncos-Panthers: By The Numbers

Denver is the odds on favorite this week.

Rob Carr

The Denver Broncos lead the AFC West division with a 5-3 record. Their opponent in Week 10, the Carolina Panthers are 2-6 and occupy 4th place in the NFC South. The Broncos beat the Cincinnati Bengals on the road 31-23 last week. Carolina’s victories came in Week 2, when they beat the Saints at Home 35-27 and last week they beat the Redskins at RFK 21-13.

These teams have only met 3 other times in their history, with the Broncos winning the first two in Denver and the Panthers winning the last one, which took place at Bank of America Stadium during Week 15 of the 2008 season. Carolina stomped the Broncos 30-10. Only a handful of players remain on the rosters from that contest.
