December 15, 1996 - Paced by Terrell Davis' 64 first half rushing yards and John Elway's 121 first have passing yards, the Broncos put up 24 points in the first quarter of a game against the Oakland Raiders and never looked back. Denver scored on touchdown runs by Davis and Aaron Carver. They added a touchdown on a pass from Elway to Rod Smith. Jason Elam added a field goal. The Broncos led 24-3 at the half. Although they gave up 16 points in the second half, they held on to win 24-19.
