The Broncos have brought back Austin Sylvester onto the roster. As Andrew Mason reports, Sylvester is the only fullback under contract for 2012.

He was originally signed by the Broncos on July 27th this year and participated in Denver's Training Camp. Austin was waived in the last cuts and then signed to the Broncos Practice Squad before being released in late October. He was then a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Practice Squad for a few weeks. With Spencer Larsen fighting a hamstring injury, the Broncos signed Sylvester to the active roster on December 27th and he was waived a few weeks later. However, he comes back to the Broncos to participate in offseason workouts and attempt to solidify himself on the 53 man roster.

With the Broncos penchant for running the football and Spencer Larsen's status as a potential unrestricted , it comes as no surprise that they would seek the help of a fullback like Austin Sylvester.
