Peyton Manning/Free Agency Watch and Rumor Open Thread

The Denver Broncos sent a contingent to North Carolina to work out Peyton Manning, and they also brought a medical team, presumably to give Manning a physical.

I think the Broncos' intentions are to sign Manning today if possible, which should be obvious, but if they leave the workout and give him a physical without signing him and he gets back to Tennessee, I think all bets are off.

There is also a rumor from my friend Josh Sanchez at FanSided's NFLSpinZone.com that the Broncos would potentially part ways with their first round pick in order to sign Pittsburgh's Mike Wallace if they get Manning.

Also, Incarcerated Bob seems pretty set on the fact that Manning-to-Denver is a done deal, and that his meeting with the Titans was just due diligence. You can make what you want of Bob's report--we are just relaying the message!
