Have you ever heard of an NFL player getting traded to the same team twice in a single day? Now you have.

Tim Tebow will be a New York Jet.

The news comes the day after Peyton Manning was announced as the quarterback of the Denver Broncos. It became known by Vic Lombardi that the Broncos would act fast, trading Tebow within 24 to 48 hours. Just like he said, almost 24 hours exactly, it was announced that Tim Tebow and a 7th round pick would be traded to the New York Jets for a 4th and 6th round pick. However, about an hour later, the emergency brake was pulled on the deal after the Jets found out that they would need to pay the Broncos $5 million to make the deal for Tebow. As the Jets and Broncos argued over the cash, the Jacksonville Jaguars decided to appease their rioting fanbase and keep pursuing the former Florida Heisman winner.

In one of the strangest announcements I've ever heard, the Denver Broncos reached agreements with the Jets and Jaguars, giving the final decision to Tim Tebow. About a half hour after that, Adam Schefter announced that Tim Tebow is a Jet.

The Broncos receive a 4th and 6th round pick in exchange for Tim Tebow and a 7th round pick. In addition, the Jets will pay half of the $5 million that was discussed earlier.

What a wild evening. For now, anyways, we can say that Tebowmania is over in Denver.
