Bannan, who played his college ball at Colorado, returns to the team that signed him as a free agent in 2010. At the time, the Broncos signed Bannan to a 5-year contract but he was released by the Broncos after just one season. Bannan spent 2011 with the St. Louis Rams.
Bannan was a 5th round draft pick by the Buffalo Bills in 2002 and spent his first four seasons with the Bills. Bannan moved on to the Baltimore Ravens enjoying four productive seasons. During his one season in Denver, Bannan notched 35 tackles, a sack and a forced fumble.
