With the release of the Denver Broncos 2012 schedule, we find that MHR's favorite team has been awarded 5 games set for Prime time television. No doubt because of new Broncos Quarterback Peyton Manning. Nevermind that the Broncos will play one of the toughest schedules in 2012. They will play seven teams that reached the playoffs last season; four of them will be on the road and three will be during prime time.

Denver will actually play their first 2 games in prime time. The season opener at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers. That contest will be a Sunday Night affair September 9th at 8:20 pm ET on NBC. Week 2 will take place at the Georgia Dome with the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night September 17th at 8:30 pm ET on ESPN.

In Week 6, the Broncos travel to San Diego for a Monday Night matchup with the Chargers. The date will be October 15th at 8:30 pm ET on ESPN. Through the luck of the draw, Denver gets an extended layover, with a Bye during Week 7 and then they will make their 4th prime time appearance at Home on October 28th against the New Orleans Saints. That will be on Sunday Night at 8:20 pm ET on NBC.

Denver's final appearance will be on Thursday Night December 6th at 8:20 pm ET. The venue will be Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum against the Oakland Raiders. The game will be broadcast on the NFL Network.

Not a bad haul for prime time this year. Let's hope our team has a good showing for the National audience. The Steelers, Falcons and Saints were playoff teams in 2011.

At this point in time, I could care less. Let's get it on!

Go Broncos!
