After a pretty quiet day one for the Denver Broncos, day two was pretty active. Selected DT Derek Wolfe from Cincinnati, one of the best interior pass rushers in the draft, then we followed that up with QB Brock Osweiler, a very raw but talented QB from Arizona State, and then finished out the day by selecting explosive running back, Ronnie Hillman out of San Diego State.

Overall it was a pretty good day. We selected players in areas of need, a dynamic interior pass rushing presence who will give his all every snap, a QB with tons of potential who could be our QB of the future, and a explosive running back who will give us a homerun threat and give Manning a weapon out of the backfield.

Now lets take a look at the best of the rest...

Heading into day 3, the Broncos currently own two 4th round picks (#101 and #108) a 5th rounder #137 and a 6th rounder #188.

Quarterback:

  • Kirk Cousins
  • BJ Coleman
  • Ryan Lindley
  • Kellen Moore
  • Aaron Corp
  • Nick Foles
  • Chandler Harnish
- Since we just drafted Osweiler, i doubt we draft one again. I could see us bringing in a UDFA possibly to compete with Adam Weber, but other than that, don't expect another QB being drafted

Running Backs:
  • Lamar Miller
  • Chris Polk
  • Chris Rainey
  • Cyrus Gray
  • Robert Turbin
  • Terrence Ganaway
  • Dan Herron
  • Vick Ballard
  • Michael Smith
  • Edwin Baker
  • Tauren Poole
- As many of you know, i'm a huge fan of Lamar Miller, and i'm really surprised that he hasn't been drafted yet. Makes me think he might be injured or not fully recovered yet, either way he would be a solid pickup in the early 4th round. Chris Polk is also available, which really surprises me too, wouldnt surprise me if EFX decided to select him. Polk is a big back, which Fox really covets. A favorite among MHR, Robert Turbin is also available, he was in for a visit and could be one of our selections in the 4th round. Some other targets could be Vick Ballard, Terrence Ganaway and Michael Smith.

Wide Receivers:
  • Chris Givens
  • Juron Criner
  • Joe Adams
  • Nick Toon
  • Keshawn Martin
  • Marvin Jones
  • B.J Cunningham
  • Gregg Childs
  • Devon Wylie
  • Dwight Jones
  • Tommy Streeter
  • Jarius Wright
  • Jeff Fuller
  • Marquis Maze
  • Rishard Matthews
  • Marvin McNutt
- Obviously a very deep list of talented players. Chris Givens would be a solid pickup, though there has been rumors of him being a "Diva" but who knows. I expect us to get a WR at some point, one name to keep an eye on is Devon Wylie. Your typical slot WR, Runs great routes and would be a perfect in a Manning offense. A couple other names to keep an eye on are, Gregg Childs, Tommy Streeter, B.J Cunningham and Marvin Jones

Tightends:
  • Orson Charles
  • Ladarius Green
  • James Hanna
  • Taylor Thompson
  • Rhett Ellison
  • Chase Ford
  • Derek Carrier
- I doubt we select any of these guys, except Carrier. The Broncos apparently have interest in him. He's a WR/TE tweener, who's big athletic and raw. Would be a nice 6th round pick. One pick who really intrigues me is Ladarius Green, i highly doubt he'll be a Bronco, but i think he has a bright future in the NFL.

Offensive Line:
  • Bobby Massie, OT
  • Zebrie Sanders, OT
  • James Brown, OG
  • Ryan Miller, OG
  • Ben Jones, C
  • Luke Nix, OG
  • Brandon Mosley, OT
  • Garth Gerhart, OC
  • Joe Looney, OG
  • Tom Crompton, OT
  • Rishaw Johnson, OG
  • Senio Kelemete, OG
  • Brandon Washington, OG
  • Andrew Datko, OT
  • Nate Potter, OT
  • Michael Brewster, C
  • David Molk, C
- If we could get Bobby Massie i would be happy. He has the potential to be a starting NFL RT, Which would allow us to shift Franklin inside. A couple other names that would be nice additions are Ben Jones, Zebrie Sanders, Brandon Washington, Nate Potter, Michael Brewster and David Molk.

Defensive Line:
  • Billy Winn, DT
  • Jared Crick, DT/DE
  • Alameda Ta'amu, NT/DT
  • DaJon Harris, DT
  • Josh Chapman, NT/DT
  • Jonathan Massaquoi, DE/OLB
  • Cam Johnson, DE
  • Mike Daniels, DT
  • Jack Crawford, DE
  • Marcus Forston, DT
  • Kheeston Randall, DT
  • Jaye Howard, DT
  • Hebron Fangupo, DT
- I'm surprised that Ta'amu is still available, and he would be a nice plugger for our interior D-line. Billy Winn is another hard working non-stop motor type player who can rush the passer from the DT position. Jared Crick is listed as a DT, but i see him more as a run stopping DE. Cam Johnson, Josh Chapman and Jaye Howard are also a few names i'd like to see us consider.

Linebacker:
  • Ronnell Lewis, OLB
  • Terrell Manning, OLB
  • Nigel Bradham, OLB
  • James - Michael Johnson, ILB
  • Travis Lewis, OLB
  • Josh Kaddu, OLB
  • Keenan Robinson, OLB
  • Audie Cole, ILB
  • Darius Fleming, OLB
  • Emmanuel Acho, OLB
  • Vontaze Burfict, ILB
  • Tank Carder, ILB
- I really like Josh Kaddu, big athletic linebacker, the type of linebacker Fox likes. Keenan Robinson, James - Michael Johnson, Emmanuel Acho and Tank Carder are a few other names i'd keep an eye on. You notice i included Burfict on here. I still think he gets drafted, but where? I doubt Denver would do it, but someone will.

Defensive Backs:
  • Alfonzo Dennard, CB
  • Trevin Wade, CB
  • Chase Minnifield, CB
  • Omar Bolden, CB
  • Brandon Boykin, CB
  • Josh Norman, CB
  • De'Quan Menzie, CB
  • Leonard Johnson, CB
  • Asa Jackson, CB
  • Ron Brooks, CB
  • Ryan Steed, CB
  • Shaun Prater, CB
- Dennard would have been a day 2 pick if he recently didn't punch a cop, possibly worth a look, but doesn't seem like the type of player EFX would take. I'm really surprised Boykin is still available, but he does have some medical red flags. Leonard Johnson, Josh Norman, Trevin Wade, Omar Bolden, Ryan Steed and Chase Minnifield are favorites of mine

Today is the last day of the draft, who do you want to see us pick up?
