So we know who WILL be part of the Denver Broncos final 53-man roster, at least for the short term. What about the players that didn't make it? Who is eligible for the practice squad? Look no further - below are the players the Broncos cut today and what there possible status could be with the team moving forward:
In addition to the 19 players who were waived or released by the club, first-year defensive end Jeremy Beal was placed on injured reserve. Tight end Virgil Green and linebacker D.J. Williams were designated as reserve/suspended and will not count against the team's active roster.
The Broncos may establish a practice squad of up to eight player beginning Saturday at 10 a.m. MDT (see below for waived players who are eligible).
