September 11, 1983 - Denver quarterback John Elway played his first game in Baltimore. Not for the team which had drafted him but for the team to which he was traded when he spurned the Colts. The rookie Elway completed 9 of 21 passes for 106 yards against the Colts before being replaced in the 2nd half by Steve DeBerg who led the Broncos to a 17-10 victory.
