Week one is in the books and the Broncos are 1-0. The season is off to the way every fan hoped it would but there is still a long way to go.

Several Broncos rookies played in the week 1 contest. Lets take a look at how they did.

DEREK WOLFE: - Wolfe made an impact in his first career game. Early in the game he had a crushing hit from behind on a Steeler running back. Later in the game, Wolfe got his first career sack being one of the few Broncos who could actually manage to pull down Big Ben. Wolfe finished with three tackles.

OMAR BOLDEN: - Bolden was put in position to succeed as the main kick returner but unfortunately never got an opportunity.

DANNY TREVETHAN: - Trevathan was active for the game but I do not think he touched the field other than special teams.

The other Broncos rookies RB Ronnie Hillman, C Phillip Blake, DT Malik Jackson, LB Steven Johnson were all inactive. Also, nothing needs to be said of Brock Osweiler because we have PFM!

AROUND THE LEAGUE:

THE QBS: Week 1 was the first time ever that 5 rookie QBs would start for their teams. Robert Griffin III set a rookie record for passing yards in a win and looked fantastic. Andrew Luck faced a tough Bears defense but threw for 309 yards and a touchdown but also 3 picks in a loss. Brandon Weeden for the Browns struggled going 12 of 35 for 118 yards and 4 interceptions. Ryan Tannehill went 20 of 36 for 219 yards and 3 interceptions in a loss.Seattle's Russell Wilson completed 18 of 34 passes for 153 yards and 1 touchdown and 1 interception in a loss.

OTHERS: Bucs RB Doug Martin had a nice day pounding the ball down field with 24 carries for 95 yards.
