The Denver Broncos didn't wait very long to fill the Defensive Backs coach vacancy. The Denver Post reports that the team hired Cory Undlin, formerly of the Jacksonville Jaguars and one-time assistant coach to Jack Del Rio.
Undlin, 41, began coaching in 1998 in the college ranks and made his NFL debut in 2004 as a Defensive Coaching Assistant for the New England Patriots during their Super Bowl XXXIX season. He worked for the Cleveland Browns as their Defensive Quality Control coach (2005-06), Assistant Special Teams coach (2007) and their Defensive Backs coach in 2008. In 2009, Cory joined the Jacksonville Jaguars as a Defensive Assistant under Jack Del Rio. For the past two seasons, he has been the Jaguars Secondary coach.
Welcome to Denver Cory Undlin.
