Chip Kelly is headed to the NFL... Finally. After flirting with the NFL the past two season, Chip Kelly, the now-former Oregon Ducks head coach has agreed to become the next head coach of the Phildelphia Eagles. Kelly had nearly become the coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after the 2011 season, and had interviewed with the Cleveland Browns and Eagles this off-season before saying he was staying at Oregon.
Pending NCAA sanctions at the school may have changed his mind, however.
The Eagles will face the Broncos in Denver in 2013, joining Mike Shanahan's Washington Redskins as the NFC East teams coming to town. With Robert Griffin III in Washington and possibly Michael Vick in Philly, the Broncos defense could be in for a test!
