It has been reported by USA Todays Lindsay Jones that Denver Broncos Linebacker Von Miller has pulled out of the Pro Bowl with a sore shoulder. Von Miller a second year pro totaled 68 tackles, 18.5 sacks, 1 Int, and 6 forced fumbles in the 2012 NFL season. Miller joins tackle Ryan Clady as Bronco players who opted against going too Hawaii. The Denver Broncos will still have five players in Hawaii to participate in the Pro Bowl. Cornerback Champ Bailey, Defensive End Elvis Dumervil, Quarterback Peyton Manning, Receiver Demaryius Thomas, and Guard Zane Beadles. There has been no report on who will replace Miller on the roster.
Broncos guard Chris Kuper has also decided not to participate in the Pro Bowl. According too the Denver Posts Mike Klis, Kuper needs surgery to repair another break in his lower left fibula. This break is in the same area where Kuper suffered a severe left ankle dislocation in last years season finale.
The league’s annual All-Star Game will be played on Sunday at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu at 5 p.m. MST. The game will be televised nationally on NBC.
