NFL Mock Draft 2013: SBNation Mock Has Broncos Taking Corner In First Round

The Broncos might be on a Super Bowl run, but the business of the NFL Draft never stops!

USA TODAY Sports

The Denver Broncos are preparing to host the Baltimore Ravens in the Divisional playoffs on Saturday but behind the scenes the scouting department is preparing for their Super Bowl - the 2013 NFL Draft. There are already 24 teams in full off-season mode and that means Mock Drafts are bound to pop up.

One of those mock's comes from SBNation's own Mocking The Draft. We'll keep this stream updates with the latest Mocks, and you can help by sending any Mock Draft's you keep your eyes on to MileHighReport@Gmail.com.

As for MtD's mock, here is direction they see the Broncos going in April:

29. Denver Broncos - Johnthan Banks, Cornerback, Mississippi State

A plus athlete who is often too aggressive for his own good, Johnathan Banks is a player I expect to fall a bit on draft day. His athleticism keeps him in the first round for now, as the Broncos could use a bit more of that in their secondary.

While we don't know yet where the Broncos will actually draft, it is likely a given that the team will draft the best player available regardless of position or trade down as they did in 2012. One positive about Banks, however, is his return skills.
