Interesting that Moreno and Ball saw about the same amount of action. Off the top of my head, I think Ball was used more near the goal line. With CJ, good first start and about what most folks expected to see from him. Limited amount of work as the #3.

Thomas goes down, Dreessen comes in. Still not a lot of 2 TE sets from the offense but we do have a Trindon Holliday sighting in the backfield.

We should count our lucky stars that the injury to Orlando Franklin was temporary and should be cleaned up be the time we face the Chargers.

With the amount the Broncos played their under defense along with variations of 3-3-5 nickel, I'm not surprised to see the quartet of Wolfe, Phillips, Vickerson and Knighton leading the way. With 3-3-5 you'll almost always see Jackson in the game. The pass rushing snaps are all relatively even which suggests a good rotation. With heavy under/3-3-5 looks Ayers suffers the most in the snap count department.

That coverage Number for Miller can be chalked up to "spy" duty on RGIII. Irving saw some time when the Broncos used their 5-2/under defense.

For the life of me, I still can't figure out how DRC only has 43 snaps on the game. Sure Jammer had some decent action with 19 but he saw most of his action late. I'll be taking a look at this when I go back and watch the tape for the defensive line.

GO BRONCOS!!!
