Peyton Manning has passed Dan Marino for second place on the all time passing list after his 414 yard performance against the Cowboys yesterday. He passed Marino late in yesterdays game with a 13 yard pass to receiver Demaryius Thomas. Manning now has 61,371 career passing yards. Brett Favre is the all time leader with 71,838. Manning needs 10,467 yards to tie Favre's record. If Peyton stays healthy, and continues his elite play he should be able to surpass Favre's record in about two to three years.
This isn't the first time that Demaryius Thomas has been apart of history with Manning. Thomas caught Manning's first TD pass as a Bronco, caught Manning's record tying 7th touchdown against the Baltimore Ravens, and caught Manning's 450th career touchdown pass.
