Even though the Broncos used Green and Tamme extensively, they still played every snap in 11 personnel with Wes Welker.

With DRC missing extensive time in the Broncos secondary Kayvon Webster and Quentin Jammer saw extensive time on the outside. It is pretty amazing that those two weren't victimized all that often given that they are now #4 and #5 on the CB depth chart.
Same thing with Sylvester Williams who saw extensive time with the loss of Kevin Vickerson.
On the surface it is astonishing that both Malik Jackson and Robert Ayers played so little, but in the case of Malik at least, I'm 100% certain the Broncos went with their nickel "bigs" look with the two large DT's and Phillips/Miller as DE's for most of the game with the Patriots extended use of 11 personnel. In the case of Robert Ayers he's pretty much getting role player snaps at this point.
Hopefully this week at least Champ will get to play.
GO BRONCOS!!!
