Peyton Manning and The Four Horsemen, 5 Games left edition

Hope everyone has had a good Thanksgiving! Admittedly the passing game has sputtered a bit the last couple of weeks. Here is a look at where each receiver stands at this point in the season.

Both Demayius and Decker should cross 1,000 yards by the end of the season. Wes Welker could make it there but he is currently projected to fall just short. Wes Welker's next TD will make it a trio of Broncos receivers to hit double digits.

Demayius Thomas: Trending Down

DT had a really tough week in New England dropping three passes along the way. He was targeted 9 times and only came up with 4 catches for 41 yards.

Eric Decker: Trending Down

Of all the Broncos receivers, Eric Decker has struggled the most with press man coverage. 4 targets and 1 catch for 5 yards against New England was his line last week. On the plus side, Decker has only had one drop in the last 7 games.

Wes Welker: Trending Down

You will get the drops with Wes, but teams have seemingly solved his presence in the Red Zone. Over the last three games Wes has not caught a touchdown.

Julius Thomas: Trending Down

You miss a game, you trend down, period...

Peyton is still on pace to break the single season touchdowns record with 52. He is also on pace to cross the 5K yard mark. If he were able to do both, he would become the 1st QB in NFL history to accomplish this feat.

Trending: Down

Call it bad ju-ju, call it the Foxboro curse, the Brady Bunch, whatever it may be--Manning on the road against New England is bad news. The past two games, Peyton has struggled to reach 60% accuracy, last game failed to reach 200 yards, and has exactly 1 touchdown pass. Hopefully this historic offense can get back on track this week in Arrowhead.

GO BRONCOS!!!
