On Sunday Matt Prater kicked a record breaking 64-yard field goal in the freezing cold as the 1st half expired. This kick not only etched his name in the annals of NFL lore, it also helped completely shift the momentum in the game. Down 21-20, the Broncos would go on a 31-7 run in the 2nd half to defeat the Tennessee Titans 51-28.
Prater has had a fantastic season making 18/19 field goals (94.7%) including every kick from 40-49 yards (6/6) and 5/6 from beyond 50.
