Welker sat out Denver's final three regular season games after suffering a concussion against the Tennessee Titans in Week 14. Welker had started participating in practice last week, but he was ruled out of Denver's regular season finale in Oakland.
Fox also updated the status of defensive lineman Derek Wolfe, who he said is getting back into football shape. Fox could not commit to a timetable for his return. Wolfe has missed every game since he suffered seizure-like symptoms on Denver's team bus days before the team's Week 13 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Broncos are set to play their divisional round playoff game on Sunday, January 12th. Barring a setback, Wes Welker will be ready.
