The Broncos signed Warren as a free agent following his release by the New England Patriots on July 29, 2011 -- He had missed the entire 2010 season with a hip injury. Warren injured a triceps muscle during Denver's 2011 preseason and spent the entire season on the Injured Reserve list. The following season, the Broncos asked him to restructure his contract (read that as "take a pay cut"). Warren balked and held himself out of the team's Organized Team Activities. He signed a restructured contract on June 6, 2012. He was a started in Denver's 2012 season opener, but re-injured the triceps early in that game. He spent the 2012 season on the Injured Reserve list.

During his two seasons as a Bronco, Warren has appeared in one game (with one start) and recorded one tackle.

According to reports, Warren was injured on the fifth defensive play of the 2012 season opener.
