When we last left off, the Denver Broncos had re-signed their own Defensive Tackle Kevin Vickerson and shored up the Offensive Line by signing Guard Louis Vasquez from division rival San Diego Chargers. Adding Vasquez next to Orlando Franklin on the right side of the line should make any Running Back happy to have an escort leading them down the field.
But the Broncos aren't finished and we should hear about another interior Lineman on the Defense sometime today and hopefully this morning. Per the always reliable Adam Shefter:
Broncos close to an agreement with Jacksonville free-agent DT Terrance Knighton, who wants to reunite with Denver DC Jack Del Rio.

Mike Klis also reported early this morning, of an interest in Safety Louis Delmas,
#Broncos have also expressed interest in Lions S Louis Delmas, although no visit set up yet. Delmas in STL on Wed. sulia.com/my_thoughts/eb…

And Schefter again tweeted of a possible "Plan B" for the Broncos in 2013.
Depending on how Elvis Dumervil situation plays out in Denver, Broncos could take run at DE Dwight Freeney or LB Shaun Phillips.

Former Steeler Running Back Rashard Mendenhall is meeting with the Arizona Cardinals this morning ansd has said he wanted to honor the visit he scheduled in Denver. Chances are high that if he leaves Arizona, he won't get past the Broncos, as Denver is considered the favorite to land the 25 year old rusher.
So Day 1 was a nice start and hopefully we get word of some more propitious developments very soon.
UPDATE: 8:41 am MT
Broncos meeting with Rodgers-Cromartie and Stewart Bradley this morning at Dove Valley. They hope to sign up to three players today.
