The Denver Broncos have done very well in Free Agency. With an aggressive plan of attack, they have for the 2nd consecutive year managed to stun the rest of the league, as well as strengthening their position at the expense of rival teams. Last season it was Peyton Freaking Manning. This time around it is the Wes Welker signing that has taken the league by storm. John Elway, the Duke of Denver, has shown that he is still the man and may be just as valuable now as he was as a player. Lets just call Elway the Wonder Boy. I Wonder what he's going to do next.
The Broncos aren't finished yet. They may not pursue an additional Cornerback, but a Running Back could be in the mix. The salary issue with Elvis Dumervil hasn't run it's course either and could resolve itself at any time.
And just think. We haven't even gotten to the draft yet! The Broncos have improved their position, on paper at least, and elated fans all across Broncos Country.
To start off this morning's conversation, it has been reported in the last 30 minutes or so, that the Kansas City Chiefs have released Quarterback Matt Cassell. It should be interesting to see who will pursue him.
Go Broncos!
