MHR Staff Off-the-Snap: Bronco Mike

Mile High Report has an infusion of staff and readers following the merger with BroncoTalk, so we're publishing a quick bio of each staff member, new and old. We're also asking each staff member to talk about the favorite piece they've ever written in their Denver Broncos blogging career! Enjoy.

Bronco Mike

Name: Mike Gomez (Bronco Mike)

MHR Staffer since: September 2012

Bio: I grew up in Denver watching the Broncos with my dad every Sunday. If there is one predominant philosophy I have towards pro football over the years it's that the team is more important than the individual. I found MHR in 2010 though it took a year or so before I started to comment and write posts. Over that time I've met and worked with a lot of nice people, with great knowledge, that took the time to help me out.

I've learned a lot just from listening and from discussing football with my fellow MHR members. Some of the most influential members in my time as a blogger here have been Kaptain Kirk, Topher Doll, Jeremy Bolander, Rodney Adams, Sadaraine, metalman, Steve Nichols, CH74, ch3cooh1, DE_BroncoFan, and SD Guy. There are many others for sure, but right now these guys stand out.

I bust my ass to give the community my best and I hope to continue sharpening my football acumen and understanding. There may be other Broncos blogs out there, but there is no denying MHR is #1 and that is largely due to the wonderful community we all participate in. Staffers....Members, we're all brothers and sisters in Orange and Blue!

Favorite Post: My favorite posts that I have written include my look back at Super Bowl XXXII in snapshots: http://www.milehighreport.com/2013/2/2/3935486/super-bowl-xxxii-a-look-back-through-snapshots
My Broncos/Patriots game preview with Sun Tzu and "The Art of War":http://www.milehighreport.com/2012/10/6/3463270/broncos-v-patriots-preview-manning-v-brady-and-the-art-of-war

Love that Art of War post. Apparently I have a weakness for intermittent Sun Tzu quotes with football analysis. Nice to meet you Mike!
