2013 NFL Draft: Denver Broncos Prospect Meetings

A list of the prospect who the Broncos have met with throughout the draft process. Will any of these guys be a Denver Bronco by next weekend?

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

The NFL Draft is almost here. John Elway and John Fox are putting their final touches on their draft board and could be setting up some final meetings/workouts. With that said, lets take a look at the prospects the Broncos have shown interest in during the entire process (Senior Bowl, East West Shrine Game, Combine Meeting, Pro Days and Private Workouts)

(This list is via WalterFootball.com)

Oday Aboushi, OL, Virginia (COM)

Keenan Allen, WR, California (COM)

T.J. Barnes, DL, Georgia Tech (COM)

Le'Veon Bell, RB, Michigan State (VINT) (PRI)

Chad Bumphis, WR, Mississippi State (EW)

Zac Dysert, QB, Miami of Ohio (PRI) (SR)

Kwame Geathers, DL, Georgia (COM)

Jordan Hill, DL, Penn State (SR)

DeAndre Hopskins, WR, Clemson (COM)

Keelan Johnson, DB, Arizona State (EW)

Nick Kasa, TE, Colorado (INT)

T.J. McDonald, DB, USC (SR)

Vance McDonald, TE, Rice (SR)

Leon McFadden, DB, San Diego State (COM)

Christine Michael, RB, Texas A&M (PRI)

Sio Moore, LB, Connecticut (COM)

Vinston Painter, OL, Virginia Tech (PRI)

Matt Scott, QB, Arizona (PRI)

John Simon, DL, Ohio State (SR)

Ryan Swope, WR, Texas A&M (SR)

Jamar Taylor, DB, Boise State (PRI)

Manti Te'o, LB, Notre Dame (COM)

Phillip Thomas, DB, Fresno State (SR)

Desmond Trufant, DB, Washington (COM)

B.W. Webb, DB, William & Mary (COM)

Kayvon Webster, CB, South Florida (EW)

Shawn Williams, DB, Georgia (SR)

Brian Winters, OL, Kent State (SR)

*Note: INT = Interested and VINT = Very Interested

Notes:

  • The Broncos have met with 28 players including, 3 Offensive Linemen, 4 Defensive Linemen, 2 Quarterbacks, 2 Running Backs, 2 Linebackers, 8 Defensive Backs, 4 Receivers and 2 Tight Ends
  • The Broncos have met with RB Le'Veon Bell and QB Zac Dysert more than once
  • According to Walter Football the Broncos are very interested in RB Le'Veon Bell and Interested in TE Nick Kasa
What should we take away from this list? Well that is hard to say. To me it shows what positions the Broncos are looking to improve at. During Free Agency they addressed the WR, OL, DL, DB and LB positions. Those signings go along with the positions they showed the most interest in during the draft process.

Now just because someone isn't on this list, doesn't mean the Broncos aren't interested in them. The Broncos didn't show much interest in Derek Wolfe last year and ended up using their first pick on him. There's probably a decent chance someone from this list will be a Denver Bronco though. Which names stand out to you from that list?
