Third year safety Quinton Carter has been cleared of any wrong doing stemming from his March 9th arrest in a Las Vegas casino. Carter was arrested and charged on three felony charges of cheating during a craps game; he plead not guilty and at the time his lawyer called the arrest, "An absolute misunderstanding."
Carter's plea was in absentia, as at the time the young safety was an a relief mission in Haiti.
John Elway mentioned Carter as a major part of the Denver Broncos plans at safety earlier this offseason, the third year safety spent most of last season on the injured reserve after finishing off 2011 in a very major way.
Carter maintained throughout the ordeal that he would be cleared of all charges, each charge carried a sentence of one to six years in jail.
