If put in immediately I’d say right tackle, but I have played both sides so I’m pretty comfortable with each. -Vinston Painter when asked if he saw himself as a Left or Right Tackle in the NFL
The Denver Broncos used one of their two draft choices for trading out of the fourth round to select Vinston Painter out of Virginia Tech with the 173rd overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.
Painter actually began his college career at defensive tackle, but switched to offensive tackle after redshirting his Freshman year.
What do you think of this draft pick?
With our pick of Vinston Painter from Virginia Tech, he's a hard-working, physical tackle. We like his potential.

Vinston Painter is athletic for an OT. Good Combine workout -- sub-5 40; 32 bench-press reps. Former DT. Potential for multiple OL spots.
