I plan to truncate Horse Tracks a bit moving forward through the "dead zone" and focus more on Denver Broncos-specific news. I'll start picking it up again league-wide as training camp gets into full swing and people start remembering football is still their favorite sport.

The Broncos addressed needs, but didn't hit any home runs with this draft class. Third round pick Kayvon Webster was a huge reach, and will likely never reach the level of a 3rd round pick. The Broncos also failed to address the need at middle linebacker, something that plagued them last season when Joe Mays went down with injury. Denver likely won't get much value from this class this year as they try to make a Super Bowl run.
