Joel Dreessen had a knee scope procedure, according to Coach John Fox. With that said, Dreessen is expected back in time for training camp.

According to this website, Joel had some knee issues dating back to 2011 when he was listed on the Texans' injury report due to a knee injury 5 different weeks. We all know that arthroscopic surgery is routine and nothing serious, but word is Julius Thomas has already started to take advantage of his increased reps with the starting unit.
Julius Thomas is seeing extra work because Joel Dreessen had arthroscopic knee surgery, John Fox said. #Broncos

This is the best I've seen Julius Thomas look. Terrific day for him. #Broncos

How terrific? Try 60-yard touchdown from Peyton Manning terrific.
"I liked it — just the chance for me to make a play," said Thomas. "I have to do what I have to do when my number gets called."
Still, count me among the Julius Thomas skeptics. He was injured last offseason but earned a roster spot almost by default as Virgil Green began the year serving out a 4 game suspension for PED's. When Green came back, Orange Julius was nowhere to be found.
I understand the hype around Thomas as he showed plenty of potential in his only year of college ball, but Bronco Mike also thinks potential means nothing until it becomes reality. Is this the season Julius finally gets it together and becomes the pass catching world beater the Broncos envisioned when they drafted him? Time will tell.
