The Denver Broncos announced that they have signed second round draft pick running back Montee Ball and third round draft pick cornerback Kayvon Webster today.
By now you know that Wills McGahee was cut by the Broncos earlier today, so the signing of Ball could place him immediately atop Denver's depth chart. Ball was considered by some (including many, if not all in the Broncos front office) to be the best running back in the draft.
Webster has been vehemently defended by John Elway since the draft; some fans and NFL experts thought of him as a reach in the third round.
Terms of the deals have not been released, but should trickle in any moment now (and likely some sleuthy fan has already posted them in the comment section).
The signings leave first round draft pick Sylvester Williams as the only remaining unsigned member of the Broncos 2013 draft class.
