The NFL has release important dates for the remainder of the 2013 season up to the 2014 NFL Draft. We have the entire calendar posted as a page in our library (see the screenshot at the bottom of this post), but here are some of the bigger dates:
Important Dates on the 2013-2014 NFL Calendar
June 23-29 - Rookie symposium, Aurora, Ohio.
July 15 - Last day for teams to sign their franchise players to a multi-year contract. After this date they can only sign to their one-year deal. Here's looking at you, Ryan Clady.
August 31 - Roster cut-down day. All teams must cut their roster down to 53 players on their Active/Inactive list by 4:00 p.m. MT.
September 1 - After the one-day waiver period concludes following the cuts to 53 men, teams can build their eight-man practice squad.
September 5 - Opening Day, Baltimore Ravens at Denver Broncos. We're counting down.
October 29 - All trading ends for the NFL at 2:00 p.m. MT.
2014
February 2 - Super Bowl XLVIII in New York.
February 4 - Denver Broncos Super Bowl victory parade.
February 19-25 - The 2014 NFL Scouting combine in Indianapolis, IN.
March 11 - Free agency begins at 2:00 p.m. MT.
May 8-10 - The 2014 NFL Draft.
