New, comments

Three starters are reportedly OUT until at least Week 1 of the 2013 Regular Season. Champ Bailey's prognosis is even more ominous and no firm return date has been set as of this writing. Fortunately, Derek Wolfe and Wes Welker will be back Week 1.

Broncos Injury Updates |
Follwing Denver's 40-10 preseason game loss at Seattle, Head Coach John Fox gave a lengthy injury report. In addition to Derek Wolfe's neck injury, Fox reported the following players also left the game with injuries: Wes Welker (right ankle), Champ Bailey (left foot), Louis Vasquez (left knee) and Stewart Bradley (left wrist).

Broncos expect Wolfe, Welker for opener - AFC West Blog - ESPN
Bailey underwent a MRI exam Sunday to check the soft tissue of the foot after X-rays were negative. The MRI showed no major tears, but Bailey was dealing with plenty of soreness in the arch of his foot and the exact timetable for a return to practice was still uncertain. The Broncos are hopeful they see progress in him over the next three weeks so he will be available for the Sept. 5 regular-season opener against the Ravens.

The Denver Broncos lost to the Seattle Seahawks last night 40-10. In Week 2 of the preseason, we saw a team that isn’t ready for the regular season. In a contest marred by missed Tackles mistakes, and missed opportunities (much less shoddy officiating), the Broncos find themselves face to face with adversity during the best time of the year to do so. AFC Team Questions This Season | Fanspeak NFL Blog
Is it fair to say Super Bowl or bust with Denver? Yes. No doubt. Coach has been to a Super Bowl, QB has won one although he doesn't have the greatest playoff resume. Any they went out and added to an already top roster. The Broncos had the path to the Super Bowl looking gold last season but faltered so how long will the window be open? It would be best to go for it this season and not worry about the future. Von Miller's suspension wasn't a good start.
