Denver Broncos News: Horse Tracks - 8/21/13

Von Miller's suspension does matter and don't let any koolaid drinker convince you otherwise. It matters not because the Broncos are suddenly going to lose every game to start the season, rather because his next infraction will be a year suspension. Yikes!

Impact of Miller's Suspension |
If Von Miller's suspension was two games, he would miss two against teams that had winning records in 2013. If it was four, he'd miss two games against teams with winning records. Now that it extends into mid-October, they'll still play two games without Miller against teams that finished above .500, and the six games come against teams that were a combined 37-59 in 2012.

Back-up Running Backs to Own | Fanspeak Fantasy Football
Despite the passing attack they had last year the Broncos weren't afraid to run the football and finished top 10 in the league in rushing attempts. Though Montee Ball figures to get the majority of carries this should be more of a committee approach, especially early on. Hillman is a guy with a lot of upside and could see between 150-200 carries this year even without a major injury to Ball. If Hillman proves himself, it wouldn't be unheard of for the Broncos to keep running with the hot hand.
