Cut Day continues at Dove Valley, with a number of surprising moves coming down the pike recently.
Surprise #1 - Rookie wide receiver Tavarres King has been reportedly waived. The news is especially surprising considering the Broncos, according to reports, waived Gerell Robinson Friday; that leaves them with only four wide receivers on the roster (not counting Trindon Holliday).
Surprise #2 - Guard/center Ryan Lilja, who came out of retirement to join the Broncos during training camp, has been released. This one is a mild surprise some, like our own Bronco Mike, saw coming.
Surprise #3 - Rookie defensive end Quanterus Smith has been placed on Injured Reserve. The fifth round defensive end reportedly had a setback from his ACL recovery - though he did play 52 snaps in Denver's fourth preseason game.
John Elway and John Fox are expected to meet with the media right now. Go to DenverBroncos.com for the live stream and check here for updates as they come.
