Deangelo Peterson is entering his 2nd season in the NFL, having spent time last year on Washington's practice squad. Peterson was an UDFA originally signed by the St. Louis Rams.
At the NFL scouting combine, Peterson posted a 4.76 40 yard dash, a 7.19 three cone drill, 18 reps on the bench press, 36" vertical jump, and a 121" broad jump. During his time at LSU, Deangelo played in 50 games with 8 starts. He finished with 39 receptions for 459 yards and 3 TD's.
Peterson will provide the Broncos depth for practice and can be stashed on the practice squad once final cutdowns are made.
