Eli Manning has never beaten his older brother Peyton Manning in an NFL game, and bettors don't think that will change this week.
The Denver Broncos have opened as 3.5-point favorites against the New York Giants for their Week 2 2013 game on Sunday, September 14. The Giants play at home, suggesting the Broncos might be considered 6.5-point favorites on a neutral field.
In Week One, the Broncos decimated the Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens 49-27, led by seven Peyton Manning touchdowns. Manning has been nominated for the NFL's FedEx Air Player of the Week award for his record-setting performance. Later in Week One, the Giants surrendered six turnovers to fall to the Dallas Cowboys 36-31 on Sunday Night Football, but somehow, they were still very much in the game late in the fourth quarter. Three touchdowns by Victor Cruz led an offense that was explosive when it wasn't sputtering to a turnover. It was the first time the Giants had lost in the Cowboys' newly-christened AT&T Stadium since it opened its doors five years ago.
The Manning Bowl is always high drama leading up to the game; this week looks to be no different as two impressive Manning-led offenses take the field.
