Broncos Start 'Em, Sit 'Em for Week 4

Your weekly Denver Broncos fantasy outlook!

Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports

The 3-0 Denver Broncos host the 1-2 Philadelphia Eagles in this weekends matchup. This should be a good matchup for the Broncos, so lets take a look at the guys who you should start, and who you should sit.

Quarterback:

Peyton Manning: START

This Is easy. Manning has been carving up defenses all season, and the Eagles Defense isn't that good. According to Yahoo Sports, the Eagles have allowed the 12th most Fantasy points to QB's so far this season. They also project Manning to get 28.97 points against the Eagles defense.

Bottom Line: If you have Manning, you should be starting him. Manning is a solid QB1.

Running Backs:

Knowshon Moreno/Montee Ball/Ronnie Hillman: SIT

Moreno was a hot pickup after his week two performance against the Giants. Many Moreno owners started him this weekend hoping for similar success against the Raiders defense. They watched Montee Ball and Ronnie Hillman both out gain Moreno in yards, and saw Hillman get a touchdown. This Denver backfield is a Fantasy Football nightmare. I would steer clear of these guys If possible.

Bottom Line: I would sit all three of these backs If possible. However, the Eagles defense is leaky, and one or more of these backs could get a touchdown. I would sit them unless you're desperate at RB2/Flex.

Wide Receivers:

Demaryius Thomas/Eric Decker/Wes Welker: START

The Eagles defense has allowed the 2nd most Fantasy points to receivers so far this year according to Yahoo Sports. Pair that with a Denver Broncos offense lead by Peyton Manning who's currently on a hot streak. It's a no brainer to start these guys. Yahoo projects Demaryius Thomas to get 11.82 points, Eric Decker to get 11.28 points, and Wes Welker to get 10.32 points.

Bottom Line: The Eagles defense has sucked, and they're going against a hot Peyton Manning? This is an easy call for me. DT is a very good WR1 this week, and Decker and Welker are a very good WR2 this week.

Tight End:

Julius Thomas: START

Thomas will be a big matchup problem for the Eagles this week, and he's caught a touchdown pass in all three games played this season. Peyton Manning Is on a hot streak, and up against a defense that has been giving up yards, and scores. I would start all of Manning's weapons if possible. Yahoo Sports is projecting Thomas to get 8.72 points against the Eagles this week.

Bottom Line: Easy call here. Thomas Is a solid TE1 option this week.

Defense:

Denver Defense: START

The Broncos have the best run defense In the league, and have a secondary that can cause turnovers. Denver be playing with the lead, forcing Michael Vick to throw the ball more then he wants. This is a recipe for success for the Broncos defense. Vick also is prone to sacks. I would start the Broncos defense this weekend.

Bottom Line: The Broncos defense should score you some points this weekend against a turnover prone Eagles offense.
