Peyton Manning's Touchdown Passes: Setting the Record Straight

With four more TD passes today (four score and seven to begin the year)....sorry weak Lincoln reference there...Peyton Manning has set the All-Time Record for TD passes to start the season.

The wording is important because even ESPN is confusing the record.

There are two records here--most touchdown passes to begin the year (which Peyton now holds):

And most TD's thrown in a four game span during the season (which Peyton set back in 2004):

Peyton is on an unbelievable pace to begin the season.  My feeling his that these will be just a few of many records Peyton and our offense will set this year.  The 2007 New England Patriots set the record for most points in a single season with 589.  After today, the Broncos have scored 179 points.  To break it, the Broncos would need to average about 34-35 points per game over the final 12.  Let's do it!

Go Broncos!!!

Go Peyton Manning!!!
