Mike Klis of the Denver Post has just tweeted that Denver Broncos captain Champ Bailey has been ruled out for tomorrow's game against the Baltimore Ravens:
Champ Bailey will be ruled out for the opener Thursday vs. Baltimore.

Bailey has been out since the preseason, although he was at practice Tuesday, he did not participate.
Yesterday, during the premiere Chris Harris Show on Denver's 104.3 The Fan, hosts D-Mac and Big Al asked Harris whether he would replace Champ for Week One if he was unable to go.
Harris said that it would be a game-by-game decision and that he felt playing outside was much easier. He ultimately did not give an answer, but reading between the lines, it seemed as if he would stick with the slot receiver versus the Baltimore Ravens regardless of Bailey's availability.
The Ravens' slot receiver this year, as you likely know, is former Denver wide receiver Brandon Stokley.
Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Tony Carter will likely cover the outside receivers. Rookie Kayvon Webster, who had a brilliant preseason and veteran Quentin Jammer will also be available at corner tomorrow for the Broncos.
