Well, the game has finally arrived. The anxiety level among many Denver Broncos fans is rivaling that of the Wild Card game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 1997 playoffs. I know I'm feeling it. Hopefully, we're all in for a similar repeat of that game here today against the San Diego Chargers.

We've all had to endure seven solid days of media talking heads picking the Chargers in an upset over our beloved Broncos, so thankfully that is going to end today as well.  One way or another anyway.

After seeing how badly the refs wanted the San Francisco 49ers to win today, so the NFL can have a fantastic NFC Championship matchup next week, I am hoping they also want to see yet another Brady vs. Manning matchup in the AFC Championship. Hey, if they are going to cheat, I'd prefer they cheat for us rather than against us. Although, I'd rather they'd just call a clean game every time...

Not being one who knows for sure how focused the Broncos players are, I have to believe the sting of last years loss has them completely dialed in for domination. Given that belief, I'm going to say the Peyton Manning and Broncos control the game from start to finish and pull away from Philip Rivers and the Chargers late.

Broncos 38, Chargers 20
