* Grades courtesy of Pro Football Focus
- Once again the Broncos ran most of their offensive plays from 11 personnel.
- While Moreno and Ball had been splitting snaps pretty close to 50/50 in recent weeks, Moreno received them at about a 2.5:1 ratio in this game.
- Chris Clark, Manny Ramirez, and Orlando Franklin were the highest graded linemen.

Lets start with the DL. Pretty evenly spread outside of Mitch Unrein and Jeremy Mincey. This is where PFF grades drive me nuts. Phillips graded out -1.0 yet had two sacks. When I look over their data it those were the only to pressures he got in 29 rush attempts. When compared with a guy like Mincey who registered a +2.7 grade with only 1 sack, he also registered 3 more hurries in only 10 pass rushing snaps.
Moving on to the linebackers we find a pretty even split in how the Broncos played in their base formations and their subpackages. Remember Woodyard = nickel/dime, Lenon and Irving equal 4-3/Under.
Moving on to the secondary, Webster just a couple weeks removed from a thumb injury saw only 1 snap, and Omar Bolden who likes to block people in the back saw no action on defense at all. So much for shuffling the deck a few weeks ago right JDR?
Looking back at that huge reception to Keenan Allen on 4th down, Broncos were in dime and chose to blitz Duke Ihenacho with Mike Adams and David Bruton playing deep. Allen beat Jammer badly off the snap and after Bruton bit up on an underneath route, was free and clear.
It is so frustrating to see our reserve safeties make mistake after mistake in deep coverage.
GO BRONCOS!!!
