1. Peyton Manning Ain't Done Yet
Denver Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey spoke to the media after arriving for Super Bowl XLVIII to discuss his injured foot, his first Super Bowl appearance and his thoughts on Richard Sherman.Despite the Denver Post making this a "huge story", it was reported here several weeks ago that Peyton Manning was going to continue playing through the 2014 season regardless of the outcome of this season. Perhaps they used the following quotes from Manning as a reason to turn it into a huge story, but really I don't think any of us doubted Peyton would be a Denver Bronco through next season.
#Broncos' Peyton Manning said he still loves the game and "certainly" wants to continue playing after this... http://t.co/jiipkMUFp6

2. Wes Welker Is One Cool Cat
It sure seems like Wes Welker has waited his whole live to wear this suit. If not, then why on Earth would he wear it? Then again, I don't have random strangers asking to drink the rest of my water from my water bottle. Seriously, who on Earth asks a stranger for a bottle of water he has already taken a sip from? That's just ... weird. And they say bloggers shouldn't have the same access as other media outlets.

3. Champ Bailey Also Ain't Done Yet
When you see "the best corner in the game" be a loud mouthed punk on national television and then see how media outlets all rush to "save" Richard Sherman's image from his own short-sighted self it makes you wonder why the classiest of men don't get the same respect and admiration for just being themselves. Champ Bailey is that kind of man and there is no man that will be taking the field on Sunday that deserves a Super Bowl ring more than Champ.
Unlike Manning, Champ didn't close the door on retirement. Instead, he said he would talk about that after the game.

4. 2014 Pro Bowl Pretty Good Actually
The NFL might have finally gotten it right with the Pro Bowl this year. The players are playing with a little more heart and determination and they are making the plays they made to get selected to that trip to Hawaii in the first place.
It actually turned out to be a pretty good game. A real football game.
