13 games, just a shade over 500. At home, Peyton has gone 4-4. He played well against San Diego since joining the Broncos with a TD/INT ratio of 12-3. Whatever the Chargers have done over the years, they have given Manning's teams some stiff competition.
0-2 in the playoffs
The thing with Manning and his playoff record, it has been a mix of more turnovers by him and some crazy juju or turn of events against his teams.
Would you believe me if I told you Billy Volek marched the Chargers down for a game winning score against Peyton's Colts? Billy MF Volek

That explains playoff loss #1.
Against SD 2009 17-14 Colts 1:48 left. Nate Kaeding ties, Sproles wins it in OT after Chargers got opening kick.

That explains loss #2
The recipe in both losses for those Colts teams were 1) turnovers 2) field position. One of Peyton's INT's came on a Hail Mary to end the half. Driving with a 7-0 lead however in the first game, Marvin Harrison caught a 17 yard pass down to the Charger 33 where he was hit and fumbled the ball. On the ensuing Charger drive they tied the game. Then late in the game with a 24-21 lead, the Billy Volek led Chargers engineered a 78-yard drive in which they faced 3rd down only once. Defense was a sieve.
Next game, the Chargers forced the Colts to start drives from their 10, 3, 7, 9, and 1 yardline respectively. Half of their drives began inside their 10. Still had a chance but after the Chargers tied it and sent the game to overtime, the Chargers took the opening kick and marched the ball downfield for a game winning TD. Peyton never got the ball.
Hopefully this time around Peyton and the Broncos can avoid turnovers, three and outs, a huge TOP deficit, and consistently long fields to drive.
GO BRONCOS!!!
