Just like last season, someone in the AFC West is walking away with a first round bye, the other will be walking away with the 5 seed. The Broncos are as good as anyone in the loss column. Truth be told though, the matchups that matter most are our divisional games and conference games in that order. Win as much as you can against both levels of competition.

If the season ended today

The Broncos would be going on the road to play the Patriots in Foxboro during the Wild-Card round of the playoffs.

Game of the week

Cincinnati vs Indianapolis is the marquee matchup going on in the AFC this week. It will have a tangible effect on the rankings going into next week, if not for much of the post-season push.

Precarious Position

The Baltimore Ravens already find themselves in a bad spot having lost two conference games to higher seeds. Any hope of finishing better than the final wild card team will rest in their ability to wrestle the division away from the Bengals.

Best position

The Broncos and Chargers are both undefeated against the AFC thus far in the season--they are the only two AFC teams that can boast that.

Broncos vs. Niners

Inter-conference battles are usually meaningless, and in the grand scheme of things still might remain as such. But the Broncos are looking to keep pace with the Chargers until their meeting on Thursday night football.

GO BRONCOS!!!
