This offseason Denver Broncos General Manager John Elway made some pretty big signings with the attention of them making a big impact on the team. Now we're near mid-season it's time to take a look at how these guys are performing.
DeMarcus Ware:
15 tackles, 7 sacks, and 1 forced fumble
Thoughts: Ware has paired well with Linebacker Von Miller and has given the Denver Broncos one of(if not) the best pass rush in the NFL. Ware is currently tied for 2nd in the NFL in sacks, two behind teammate Von Miller.
Aqib Talib:
28 tackles, 2 Interceptions, 10 pass deflections and 1 touchdown
Thoughts: Talib has given the Broncos secondary a true "shutdown corner" and a guy who can lineup against the teams number one option every play.

Must Reads
T.J Ward:
29 tackles, 1 sack, and 2 pass deflections
Thoughts: Ward has given the Broncos a run stuffing/physical presence to their secondary. He's one of the reasons why the Broncos run defense has been so good.
Emmanuel Sanders:
47 receptions, 634 yards, and 4 touchdowns
Thoughts: Sanders was brought in to replace Eric Decker in the Broncos offense, and he's done a good job thus far. His speed and quickness are evident on the field. He's a big play waiting to happen whenever he takes the field.
So now Broncos fans I ask you this question. Which of these four players have been the better Free Agent acquisition this offseason?
Horse Tracks:
- Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson is going to be a game-time decision for this sunday's game
- New England Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick isn't talking about sending cornerback Darrelle Revis home earlier this week.
- Houston Texans Head Coach Bill O'Brien says rookie linebacker Jadeveon Clowney "has a shot" to play this weekend
- The Washington Redskins do not plan on rushing back quarterback RG3 this season.
