Denver Broncos News: Horse Tracks - Current playoff standings

Good Morning Broncos Country!

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Very early playoff standings

1) San Diego Chargers 4-1, 0-0 division, 3-0 conference

2) Cincinnati Bengals 3-1, 2-0 division, 2-1 conference

3) Indianapolis Colts 3-2, 2-0 division, 3-1 conference

4) Buffalo Bills 3-2, 1-0 division, 1-2 conference

5) Denver Broncos 3-1, 1-0 division, 2-0 conference

6) Houston Texans 3-2, 0-0 division, 2-0 conference

Bubble (3-2): Patriots, Ravens, Steelers

The Broncos are percentage points behind the Chargers which is why they are currently the 5th seed and not the #1 seed. This rivalry is likely to decide home field advantage throughout the playoffs with the loser ending up a wildcard who will have to make it to the Super Bowl by winning three consecutive road games.  The Broncos already own head to head tiebreakers with the Colts and will play Buffalo, Cincy, and San Diego (twice) before all is said and done.
