The Indianapolis Colts head on down to Houston to take on the Texans to kick off Week 6. Who do you have in this contest?

I think I had a good week last week, but I finished near the bottom of the 40-person pick'em league, which makes me think it may not have been as good of a week as it seems. The Houston Texans losing in overtime to the Dallas Cowboys hurt the most and the Tennessee Titans blowing a 25 point lead to the Cleveland Browns sealed my fate last week.

  • Last Week: 11-4
  • Season: 45-31

Once again this year, I am drifting into the middle of the pack with the leader having 52 wins already through five weeks. The good thing is, the Denver Broncos are winning, which makes all of my life that much easier. They have cupcake lined up this weekend in the New York Jets, so nothing would make my weekend complete than to see the Broncos completely obliterate a team. I think they call it eatin' greedy.

Let's get on with tonight's pick and hopefully the start of another respectable week for pick'em!

Indianapolis Colts (3-2) at Houston Texans (3-2)

This may be an overreaction to losing to the Dallas Cowboys last week, but the Texans essentially had a home game against them and their defense could not come up with the big stop against Tony Romo. I think Andrew Luck is a darn sight better than Romo, so I will have to go with the Indianapolis Colts tonight over that J.J. Watt led defense. I just don't see Ryan Fitzpatrick getting the job done enough to overcome a better Colts team. Prediction: Colts 24, Texans 14.
